The JOURNEY

COACH

TYLER MARTINEZ

Growing up, sports and fitness were always a big part of my life. When I was about 20 years old I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a certified trainer. At age 23 I graduated with an associates of science degree as a physical therapist assistant. Since then I have been working full-time in the therapy field ( 12 years) and still manage to coach clients as a part-time job. Currently, I am working towards turning my coaching business into my full-time job, as it truly is my passion.

Despite being a trainer and a health care professional, I have had my ups and down with my personal health and fitness just like anyone else. You get married, have kids, and other life events happen and its easy to put your health on the back burner. I know this was the case for me, but bottom line these are all just excuses! It really comes down to prioritizing what is really important. I would work really hard to get to a point where I thought I was in “decent” shape, then I’d get right back into my bad habits of over eating, drinking, and only working out a couple/few times a week. Then I’d be right back to the body you see below in the before picture.

Wasn’t until I turned 35, when I realized things had to change. I needed to make a mindset change to prioritize my health and fitness. For me this meant giving up the binge eating, stop drinking alcohol several times a week, and being more disciplined and consistent in my workouts.

When I finally made these changes is when I started to see true results. Not only in my physical apperance but how I feel as well. Everyday I am still working on ways to improve my mindset, nutrition and further my progress to become the best version of myself. Not only for me, but for my family.

Let me help you become the best version of you!
